How does the Care Quality Commission check our standards?

The Care Quality Commission is the independent regulator of health and adult social care in England. They make sure health and social care services, like ours, are safe, effective, caring, responsive, compassionate, and well-led. They monitor, inspect and rate us, to make sure we are meeting regulations and quality and safety standards. They publish a report about us, as well as performance ratings, that helps to give you peace of mind when you choose us or whilst we are providing your care.

We were last inspected in April 2019 and were rated ‘good’ in the five areas inspected and were given an overall rating of ‘good’. Clients and their families expressed a high degree of satisfaction with the help and care they receive from us and were complimentary about the staff. Staff spoke positively about working for Caring Hands.

Over the years we have been consistently rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission, recognising the hard work and dedication the entire team at Caring Hands have put into the quality of our service to our clients.
